Organ Systems
This project was very interesting. We were to show how two organ systems worked together to help the body. My group chose the respiratory system and the lymphatic system (immune system). We were to create a visual presentation of how they worked together through a slideshow and a 3-dimensional representation. Our slideshow shows how the respiratory system and the lymphatic system work together. They work by draining the lungs of pleura when the amount of pleura gets too much. Our slideshow goes into deeper depth on how each system works and how they work together. Our slideshow is below:

Concepts
Respiratory System- the system responsible for our breathing
Lungs- the major organ of the respiratory system that intakes oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. They are what lets us breath
Trachea- the windpipe. Where air travels
Bronchi- any of the major air passages of the lungs that diverge from the windpipe
Avioli- tiny air sacs in the lungs where the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place
Lymphatic System- this system fights diseases and keeps us healthy. Also known as the immune system
Lymph- a fluid containing white blood cells, that bathes the tissues and drains through the lymphatic system into the bloodstream
Lymph Nodes- each of a number of small swellings in the lymphatic system where lymph is filtered and lymphocytes are formed
Lymph Vessels- thin-walled, valved structures that carry lymph
Pleura- Fluid in the lungs
B Cells- responsible for producing antibodies
T Cells- produced or processed by the thymus gland and actively participating in the immune response.
Helper T Cells- a T cell that influences or controls the differentiation or activity of other cells of the immune system
Killer T Cells- a T cell that destroys an antigen
Antibodies- a blood protein produced in response to and counteracting a specific antigen
Antigen- a toxin or other foreign substance that induces an immune response in the body, especially the production of antibodies

Reflection
I enjoyed this project. It reminded me of last year because we were building with power tools just like last year. I thought this project was very interesting. It was fun to learn about how our body works and how they react to problems. It was interesting how all these organs and organ systems work together and what each individual organ and system does. I liked my group. I thought we worked very well together and had fun while doing it. I feel like this was my best project. I was productive and helped my group. I thought our presentation was also very good, considering we went first and there were a lot of interuptions. This project made me realize that hard work pays off. I worked hard this project and I got a good grade in return. I enjoyed this project. It was both fun and interesting.
